And this is why I love Enchanted. It’s like a Disney movie and a Disney parody at the same time.

I may be the only one, but I respect Enchanted as I do every other Musical—even if it wasn’t a stage production first.

As a survivor I know how it feels not to be taken seriously by authority. A 12 year old me, dealing with family death, divorce, and rumors in school, now had to deal with being assaulted. This time all alone. When I told someone, I received an answer I’ll never forget, “Well, I’m sorry. I can help you get over it, but he’s out of the district. I can’t do anything.” A mandated reporter told no one, because she didn’t want to fill out the paperwork. But I survived. I’m strong. Most of all, I’m here.

If any of you have struggled, or are struggling with assault, let me know. I can talk to you. I can try to help you. I love you.
